Meaningful Descriptions

Descriptions are everywhere.

From product descriptions for online shopping to aides in educational materials, there is a need to clearly communicate what something is, and it helps if these descriptions strike the perfect balance of informative, concise and interesting enough that reading the descriptions aren’t putting you to sleep.

With this project I was tasked with fleshing out a bullet point list for different yoga positions into a flowing, empathetic description.

Goal: Inform audiences how to execute different yoga positions concisely and with a relaxing, empowering style.

Method: I went about adapting the literal bullet point lists into informative descriptions by not shying away from addressing the audience directly and keeping the verbs active. This resulted in straightforward descriptions that were as active as the yoga-doing audience.
